The majority of the people grow coffee in the forest community (social forestry). However, knowledge related to forest management sustainability is still limited. Many encroachment and poaching practices are found in Ulubelu Forest where the forest is a source of life for the surrounding community. By Therefore, PGE Ulubelu Area took the initiative to find alternative solutions that work together with its CSR fostered community group, namely KUPS (Kelompok Usaha Perhutanan Sosial) Margo Rukun Bestari, ERMi (Emergency Response Group Millenials) and KUBERSERI (Kelompok Usaha Bersama Ulubelu Lestari). Each group has an important role in sustainability of social forestry in Ulubelu. Thus, ELOC Berseri shows how innovation and cooperation can help achieve common goals and creating added value for all parties involved. This study uses the descriptive qualitative research to explain the implementation and impact of the Eloc Berseri program. The village boasts various potentials in natural and socio-cultural resources, one of which is the presence of the Kampung Apar Innovation Centre (KAIC) and agricultural potential. However, a significant issue faced is the vulnerability to drought in Kampung Apar. The rice fields in Kampung Apar rely heavily on rainwater for irrigation, posing a problem during dry seasons. Hence, an efficient water-based agricultural system adapted to Kampung Apar's conditions is necessary. Additionally, waste management, particularly the uncontrolled accumulation of organic waste, especially fruits and vegetables from Kurai Taji Market, is another concern. In 2021, the KAIC managed organic waste into various products including solid and liquid fertilizers and maggots. Leveraging the potential of these waste-derived products and maggot cultivation could stimulate a circular economy in Kampung Apar. This research aims to describe the Kampung Apar Innovation Centre program: Digital Technology-Based Smart farming supported by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga AFT Minangkabau in sustainable innovation to address climate change. The research methodology employed is descriptive-qualitative, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the innovation in the Digital Technology-Based Smart farming program implemented by KAIC has led to economic improvements in the Kampung Apar community. Furthermore, it has brought changes to the needs fulfilment system, enhanced organizational capabilities, fostered social cohesion, and introduced new agricultural management practices. The objective is to establish a sustainable development program focused on environmental preservation and community prosperity. It is hoped that this program will empower the community to overcome challenges and maximize their potentials, benefiting not only the residents of Kampung Apar but also extending its impact beyond Pariaman City
2024-10-09T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 E-Proceeding Conference: Indonesia Social Responsibility Awardhttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/isra/article/view/254The Environmental Communication of Travelxism in Sustainable Tourism Development in Yogyakarta2024-07-30T05:20:39+00:00Mustika Yulia Yuliayuliamustix31@gmail.com
Abstract

This research discusses the importance of sustainable tourism in the economic development of a region. The research method was descriptive qualitative with a constructivist approach. Data collection techniques use interviews and direct observation in the field. 15 Ha of pond land was washed away by abrasion so that it could no longer be used. Utilizing the potential of local wisdom of bamboo plants as a simple innovation, HE applies a permeable structure as a device to reduce the force of waves while trapping sediment carried by seawater and/or river channels on land. Within a few months, the sedimentation that forms behind the permeable structure is expected to provide ideal conditions for natural regeneration. Mangrove planting was carried out in the protected zone of the Hybrid Engineering structure with 5,000 trees. The existence of the HE structure will make water conditions more conducive for the natural growth of mangrove saplings, but to speed up succession, mangrove planting is carried out behind the HE structure.

Keywords: Hybrid Engineering; Building With Nature; Coastal; Abrasion; Mangrove
2024-09-12T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 E-Proceeding Conference: Indonesia Social Responsibility Award
