This role is realized through corporate social responsibility, one form of which is empowerment programs aimed at making a significant contribution to society. One company actively implementing empowerment programs in its operational areas is PT Pertamina Gas Operation Kalimantan Area. The company has launched several empowerment initiatives, including a local potential-based ecotourism program that has been running for the past two years in Martadinata Village, Kutai Timur Regency. However, this program appears to face certain limitations in its implementation. Adopting the triple bottom line approach, researchers have identified the potential for developing another local potential-based tourism program an agro-tourism initiative. This program can potentially broaden the impact of the existing ecotourism program and address various community issues simultaneously in Martadinata Village. The idea for this program stems from integrating the TAMAN Sidrap program, which is also an empowerment initiative by PT Pertamina Gas Operation Kalimantan Area, into an agro-tourism format. It is hoped that this program can serve as an effective option to maximize the benefits of existing programs, thereby improving the community's social, economic, and environmental quality of life.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakathttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/jpm/article/view/400Development of a Cultural Tourism Village in Sambilegi Kidul based on Community Empowerment2024-12-27T03:33:53+00:00Miftah Faridl Widhagdhamiftah@arjunawijaya.coKevin Kurnia Gumilangmiftah@arjunawijaya.co
The Cultural Tourism Village is a community empowerment strategy carried out by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga DPPU Adi Sucipto through the CSR Program in developing the community in Sambilegi Kidul Padukuhan, Maguwoharjo Village, Depok District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. This program started with the findings of social problems, followed up through social mapping studies and limited group discussions with the community. Social issues in Sambilegi Kidul Padukuhan include the lack of optimal land use, the limited level of community welfare, and the fading of cultural preservation, especially Javanese culture in the community in Sambilegi Kidul Padukuhan. PT Pertamina Patra Niaga DPPU Adi Sucipto implements the Dangau Minahorti CSR Program which focuses on increasing public awareness of the environment, developing horticultural agriculture, developing aquaculture to preserving the traditional sport "Jemparingan". As a result, this program has succeeded in forming the Arimbi Women Farmers Group (KWT) consisting of 44 people who manage the business activities of Sambilegi Kidul Tourism Village. Now, Sambilegi Kidul Tourism Village has become an alternative tourist destination, especially cultural tourism in Sleman Regency and has become a leading tourism destination for the surrounding community.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakathttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/jpm/article/view/393Implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) in Coffee in Mekar Sari Farmers Group, Kemawi Village, Somagede District, Banyumas Regency2025-01-16T07:09:07+00:00Lafi Na’imatul Bayyinahlafi.bayyinah@unsoed.ac.idHana Hanifahana.hanifa@unsoed.ac.idAgus Sarjitoagus.sarjito@unsoed.ac.idRosi Widarawatirosi.widarawati@unsoed.ac.idPurwantopurwanto0401@unsoed.ac.idRisqa Naila Khusna Syarifahrisqanaila@unsoed.ac.idHanim Rahayuani Ratnaningsihhanim.rahayuani@unsoed.ac.id
Coffee is one of Indonesia's main commodities, playing an important role in supporting the national economy. However, coffee productivity, especially robusta, has declined in recent years. In Kemawi Village, Somagede Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, the issue of low productivity and quality of robusta coffee has become a major challenge. This is due to the lack of implementation of Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) guidelines for environmentally friendly farming that produce safe and consumable products. This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of coffee farmers in the Mekar Sari Farmers Group regarding applying GAP in coffee cultivation. The program is conducted through a series of activities, including counseling sessions and field practices covering superior seeds, grafting techniques, organic fertilization, preparation of planting holes, planting, and pruning of robusta coffee branches. Applying GAP is expected to increase the productivity and quality of robusta coffee in Kemawi Village and serve as a model for other farmers' groups in the area.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakathttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/jpm/article/view/405Empowerment of the Aisyiyah Women's Community in Jaten District for Achieving Family Resilience and Addressing Climate Change2025-01-14T02:16:10+00:00Siti Khoiriyahsiti.khoiriyah12@staff.uns.ac.idAgung Hidayatagung.hidayat@staff.uns.ac.idAkbarudin Arifakbaroedin.akbar@staff.uns.ac.idHaryani Saptaningtyash.saptaningtyas@staff.uns.ac.id
Climate change is a global challenge affecting various aspects of life, including family resilience. Women’s communities, particularly members of Aisyiyah in Jaten District, have significant potential to lead family resilience efforts in addressing climate change. The impacts of climate change, such as extreme temperature rises and unstable weather patterns, affect the agricultural sector, a primary source of livelihood. Women, who are often responsible for household food production, face additional burdens due to food and water shortages. Therefore, a community empowerment program is essential, focusing on education about climate change, adaptation, and mitigation, alongside training in environmentally-based economic activities. The activities include composting, liquid fertilizer production, and crafting handicrafts from economically valuable waste. The program aims to enhance community members' understanding of climate change impacts, improve mitigation skills, and promote community welfare through household waste management. The introduction of simple technologies such as composters, organic liquid fertilizers, and accessories from organic waste received positive responses from the community, providing education and motivation for direct waste management practices.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakathttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/jpm/article/view/377A CSR Journey: Pemuda Mandiri Pengelola Sampah Pantai Loji PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Jabar 2 Pelabuhan Ratu2025-01-21T02:21:55+00:00Muhammad Saghar SeptianSagharseptian@mail.ugm.ac.idAliecya Zahraa Salshabillaaliecyazhraas@gmail.comRobert David CarniagoRobert.david@plnindonesiapower.co.idYovi AlkausarYovie89alkautsar@gmail.comAsep Tresna Lukman HakimAsep.tlh@plnindonesiapower.co.id
PERMADANI Program – Entrepreneurship Youth Managing Loji Beach Waste – is a community empowerment program in Loji Village that focuses on environmental conservation efforts. Piles of beach and household wood waste have piled up along Talanca Loji Beach, downstream of the Cimandiri River. This has finally become a serious threat that disrupts the Pelabuhan Ratu PLTU business process, which is located across the beach. Therefore, the PERMADANI program was formed. The PERMADANI program carries out two main activities to reduce waste: (1) biomass co-firing production from shredded seawood waste (and (2) craft production from the Garuda Karya Sapta derivative group. The method in the empowerment process uses a participatory approach by placing the community as the subject of the empowerment itself.
2025-01-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakathttps://prospectpublishing.id/ojs/index.php/jpm/article/view/207Empowering the Young Generation with Financial Literacy 2025-02-06T02:57:39+00:00Firya Qurratu'ain Abisonofiryaqr@staff.uns.ac.idSri Hastjarjosri.hastjarjo@staff.uns.ac.idNovita Haryononovita.haryono@staff.uns.ac.idAulia Suminar Ayuaulia.suminar@staff.uns.ac.idAndrine Prima Afneta Arzilandrine.prima@staff.uns.ac.idDiah Kusumawatidiahkusumawati@staff.uns.ac.idPawitopawito_palimin@staff.uns.ac.idHamid Arifinhamidarifin@staff.uns.ac.id
Many young people adhere to the principle of YOLO or You Only Live Once, so this is a reason to use personal finances for self-reward or to buy everything they like, especially when they start to have their income. In connection with this situation, Bank Indonesia as the Central Bank has a mission to help increase the financial market deepening to strengthen the effectiveness of Bank Indonesia policies and support national economic financing. Bank Indonesia also wants to create an Indonesian society with a better understanding of financial literacy amidst the increasing enthusiasm of the younger generation to start investing but does not yet have adequate financial investment literacy. From this perspective, our Group Research helps with communication strategy issues related to financial literacy for the younger generation so that the information provided can be disseminated to the right targets and in a way that is easily accepted. Targeting the young generation aged 21-35 years, we held a workshop with the title Financial Literacy: Young, Smart, and Safe in Transactions and Investing as a communication strategy for public literacy to correctly recognize and understand the forms of investment and banking products that suit their character.
2025-02-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Prospect: Jurnal Pemberdayaan Masyarakat
