Social Return on Investment (SROI) Analysis in The Implementation of The Semut Island Ecotourism Empowerment Program

Pulau Semut Ecotourism Empowerment Program is a community empowerment program initiated by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga FT Sei Siak. This program has been running for 5 years, starting from 2020 to 2024. After 5 years of running the program, the community as the subject of empowerment has felt the impact or benefits of the programs that have been carried out. The benefits obtained include increasing capacity and improving infrastructure at Pulau Semut Ecotourism. In program development, impact calculations are very necessary, because through these calculations the comparison between the company's initial investment and the value of the benefits obtained can be seen. The results of the assessment can be used to assess how far the program is running and how much benefit has been felt by the beneficiaries and the surrounding community. This research aims to examine the impact of the social innovation program carried out by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga FT Sei Siak. The Social Return On Investment (SROI) method can be used to see how big the impact of a social innovation is. The results of this research show that the SROI value for the Semut Island Ecotourism program is 1.05. This figure shows that every 1 rupiah towards the Semut Island Ecotourism program can provide benefits to beneficiaries amounting to 1.05 rupiah.
